Get Ready for the 10th Annual WBHI Pink Walk in Miami!
On September 20, 2026, South Florida will embrace community spirit and health awareness as it hosts the 10th Annual WBHI Pink Walk—5K Run and Walk. This year marks a special milestone with the event taking place at the beautiful Kendall Campus of Miami Dade College. Starting at 6:00 am, participants will take steps toward breast cancer awareness and education, culminating at 7:30 am with a spirited race kickoff.
Why Join the WBHI Pink Walk?
The Women’s Breast & Heart Initiative (WBHI) has been instrumental in pushing for education and early detection of breast cancer within the community. By participating in the Pink Walk, you won’t just be running 3.1 miles; you will be making a significant impact by supporting crucial initiatives that aim to expand WBHI’s reach in South Florida. Every step you take and every dollar raised contributes directly to services such as health education and patient navigation, ultimately saving lives.
A Fun-Filled Morning Awaits!
The event promises not only a great workout but also an engaging atmosphere. Returning as the emcee is Constance Jones, NBC 6 news anchor, who will host a lively morning filled with music, giveaways, and camaraderie. Whether you choose to race, walk, or jog, your participation matters and helps fund WBHI’s grassroots services.
Fundraise for a Cause
Participants are encouraged to create personal fundraising pages. Special rewards are available at various milestones such as $50 and $100, all contributing to a major goal of raising $100,000. Each dollar works to provide vital resources to communities in need. If you can’t make it in person, you won’t miss out; virtual participation is also an option.
Join the Movement
As the countdown to the Pink Walk begins, it’s an ideal time to gather your friends, family, or coworkers and lace up your sneakers! Together, let’s make a difference one step at a time. The new location at Kendall Campus adds a vibrant backdrop for this important event and showcases Miami's beauty and commitment to health and wellness.
